KNEE PAIN

Pain under the knee cap and around the knee has most often been identified as Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS) or Runners Knee. Both of these conditions can be treated at our clinic. Often times muscle tension in the quadriceps, hamstrings and gluts can be linked to knee pain. Reducing tightness in the major muscle groups that stabilize the knee joint can reduce pain in and around the knee. Stretching and strengthening those muscles can also be used as a preventative measure to decrease the reoccurrence of such pain.
